Why THINK Pilates + Yoga?

THINK is rooted in he practices of movement and mindset, two fundamentals of living a healthy, successful life.

We love to advocate, practice, embody, and teach the skills for living optimally.

Teaching how to listen deeply, how to remember fundamental truths, and how to find well-springs of hope, abundance, and resilience from within are the basis of this practice and collaboration.

We’ve developed K.I.T. to transcend exercise with a mind-body approach (read more).

With Think, you have a safe space to re-discover your nature’s true potential.

We acknowledge the sacredness of life and the many things outside of our control that influence us in major ways. Our practices orient from embodiment, a reclamation of self. The purpose is to unleash power and freedom from deep within, unleashing repressed movements from stressors and strains, unleashing our best selves.

Sharing these practices solidifies accessible ways to familiarize ourselves with our own vessels, to regulate our breath and nervous system, so we can establish our grounding and prepare for the unexpected.

Since 2016, Think Pilates and Yoga’s founder, Kit McDaniel has trained and supported high-performance executives, performers, and a lot of new and expecting mothers in the most stressful times of their lives.

Kit was born to move, and teach movement. After decades of dancing and teaching technique, choreography, and conditioning, Kit evolved her practice to include many therapeutic modalities.

Pilates, Yoga, Functional Range Conditioning, and Breathwork are the foundations of Kit’s method; Kinetic Integrative Training (K.I.T.)

K.I.T. goes beyond corrective and rehabilitative exercise by teaching the possibilities of the mind-body connection and its healing potential. K.I.T. is a guidance system for bodies seeking space, strength, and harmonious connection.

Pilates

Pilates is the perfect tool to re-pattern poor daily habits and re-align the body to move through your day with efficiency and full autonomy. This evidence-based technique uses precision and creativity to strengthen core, nourish spine, stabilize joints, and improve overall postural health.

Yoga

Meditation

The biggest misconception about mediation is that you need to “empty your mind of thought.” Instead, we are simply opening the line of communication between the conscious and non-conscious minds. Learning how to witness without judgement is the first step to mindfulness.
